Travel Theme: Strong

This past weekend my brother and friend came up to visit me, and we went to a place called Beaver Brook Falls. It’s absolutely stunning with it’s cascading waterfall and “magical-like” trail paths. We went down one of the trails, and the NH Environmental group has just gone through recently and cleared the path…my brother thought he would be funny, so I snapped this picture:

I know he doesn’t look it, but my brother is actually 6’7″ and a LOT of muscle. It was really funny seeing him “play strong” when he really is strong.

November 14, 2013-My Brother Joshua

Today, I am thankful for my Brother Joshua, also known as Tumbleydoo….and I just realized that this sounds bad. I’m thankful for him always, but especially today. For those of you who don’t know my brother (most, if not all) he is going to be a comedian someday. I’m not even kidding. I’ve told him he should start his own youtube page, but I think he’s camera shy. 🙂 He has time to get over that.

I truly believe that if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have half the laughs in my life that I do. Joshua is currently 19 years old, and works at the same deli as my mom. I think his dream is to open his own pet boarding/doggie day care place. He would be so good at it too!!! He’s great with dogs, and every dog he’s eve met LOVES him. Like seriously, you would think he keeps raw meat in his pocket or something.

Joshy is also my shopping buddy!!! He has this awesome sense of what looks good and what doesn’t. He actually helped me pick out my prom dress my senior year of high school, and I believe that if I get married someday, he’ll be the one to help me pick out my wedding dress.

He says he doesn’t want kids, which is fine, but I think that if I have kids, he’ll be their favorite uncle. Not that my other brothers aren’t awesome (if you remember, I did a thankfulness day for Elliott), but Joshua is just good with kids. I think it’s because he has this natural ability to treat a kid like an adult, which seems weird, I know, but kids like it. They really do.

So today, I give my thankfulness to my youngest brother. ❤

November 7, 2013-My Brother Elliott

I am thankful for my brother, Elliott Recore. (Even if he never answers my texts, even though he’s on his phone all the time).

He’s a big goof ball, but he really does have a heart of gold. He’s about a year and a half younger then me, but he’s always been taller then me. At about 6’6″, he’s the tallest guy in our family.

He knows when to make a person laugh, and he’s there when you need a shoulder to cry on. Love him. ❤
