Left with cold feeling.
Someone replied to one of my posts with the first line, and it kind of stuck with me, so I knew I had to write a haiku for it. 🙂 It’s definitely not a warm fuzzy feeling, but that’s kinda the point. Too many people want their kids to grow up to fast, and they lose everything. Imagination is everything. 🙂
I want my kids to have a rich inner life. I agree that taking that away would be soul-destroying and horrible. I get your haiku now, thanks.
